Freedom

Lester Levenson, who cured himself from life-threatening heart disease, had a humorous saying: “The greatest of all kisses, is a Kiss of Freedom.”
Being honest about our spiritual condition, we can see clearly whether we are under the human slavery of money, power, sex, food, poverty,
minimum wages, unhappy employment, unhappy marriage, peer pressure, group thinking, artificial authorities, uncontrollable emotions,
uncontrollable mind, additions, want for love, want for approval, want for security, fear of death, fear of being ourselves, fear of showing our
vulnerabilities, fear of being judged, victim mentality, diseases, drugs, even schools, organizations, churches, and governments.

When we were kids we were subject to the authority of our families, schools, peer groups, churches, and governments. We naturally absorbed
all understandings, knowledge, behavior patterns, and beliefs from our environment, and we learned to survive with coping mechanisms that
were not necessarily based on truthful understanding of the reality. We might have been heart broken, injured, traumatized, victimized, and we
might even relied on unwanted patterns such as binge eating food, lying, conforming, over thinking, day dreaming, hard working to make us feel
a little better temporarily. However, we knew the awful feeling of being in the prison, and the guilt and shame of being a prisoner. Our self-images might have been seriously damaged, and we walked around life like on egg shell or a timed bomb, as anytime the severe pain of feeling
bad about ourselves could rise up, and explode to anger, rage, sadness, hopelessness, and depression.

Even those who seem to have the most envied life may be secretly dealing with “skeleton in the closet”, fearful of being exposed and
discovered to be in such conditions. Many of us are totally stressed, but fearful of admitting it, seriously ill, but shameful of being ill, afraid of
losing control, but desperately covering it up. We may compromise, speak not our own truth, do what we do not want to do, or sacrifice our
own beliefs, just to please other people and avoid confrontation at all costs. We may be bombarded by other people’s voices and buy into their
beliefs, stories, teachings, and completely lose our own ability to think for ourselves, to rely on our own God-given inner guidance, to stand
strong in our own individuality, and dare to be alone for the sake of our own pursuit of truth and freedom. We may seek spirituality, go to
churches, yet to gain another false sense of superiority to cover up our deep lack of peace, joy, and love.

How can we be totally free from all these? Is it even possible? Where are the answers? Looking at the complexity of life and daunting
challenges we face, how can we trust that Love is the answer to all? How can we find this divine Love that drives out all fear, heals all broken
hearts, all traumas, all diseases, bring true peace and joy to our heart, and lead us back to original life that radiates only Love, Light, Peace,
Power, and Happiness?

With God nothing is impossible. God is simplicity. The Little Columba can guild you to this peace, with God’s Love and Grace…all is well, and all
